This story highlights how 'To.Get 🐢', a small turtle, transformed shopping with an eco-friendly approach, uniting people to save our oceans from plastic, proving that even minor changes can have a major impact.

Problem Identification
Online and grocery shopping contribute to excessive waste from plastic and insufficient recycling. There's high demand for eco-friendly shopping solutions that offer both sustainability and convenience, but such options are scarce.

Explorations & research process
Take action to eliminate microplastic. Focusing on recycling, people neglect to reduce plastic use, which harms sea life and human health, causing illness and hormonal issues.
Co-creation workshop & Persona
We held a workshop with 50+ people to address microplastics and boost sustainability.
We conducted surveys and interviews, creating five distinct personas from these discussions, to identify their primary needs and challenges.

We gathered feedback from 50+ users through surveys, interviews, and tests post-launch to understand their platform experiences.
Users praised our platform's user-friendly design for easy bulk purchasing and informative sustainability content.
Usability and Design- Users liked the platform but suggested improving the search tool and adding more filters for better navigation.
Features and Functionality- Users want a dashboard to track their eco-friendly impact, like saved plastic waste from sustainable shopping.
Technical Performance- Some users reported slow mobile loading, stressing the need for better performance on all devices.
Reflections
Our goal: reduce plastic use via bulk buying. Challenges in habit change and sustainability led to valuable lessons and growth opportunities.
